Leaves Shower for Mom {Dies R Us}

Hello and Welcome to my blog, today I have a beautiful card for Mother's Day as a great inspiration post using some FAV Dies R Us. I just need to say that it is an amazing card for an amazing person!
Here's my card
 I choose to use for my card the lovely Weeping Willow Branches die from Poppystamps, cut twice using green cardstock and add it one on top and one at bottom diagonally. Using Woodland Oval die also from Poppystamps, I die cut a piece of distress designer paper from my scrap pile and using Spellbinder Oval cut the kraft cardstock for the sentiment on the center. I just love how the Willow branches cover all the front of the card.
added and ivory ribbon across the center with a bow on top, the sentiment was stamped using Memento Black Ink and added 2 green sequin to the center.
I have to say that I love the outcome of the card is so delicate and simply... and it is just perfect for the occasion!!
Please be sure to take a minute and check out all the fabulous dies available at the Dies R Us Store!  AND, don't forget we have a Dies R Us Challenge Blog too!  A fun new challenge is offered on the 1st and 15th of each month with a PRIZE VOUCHER offered to one lucky winner each challenge.  It could be YOU!

Just a little note.... {Digital Delights}

Hello and Welcome to my blog!
Today I would like to share with you the Side Step Card tutorial I made as Hostess today for Digital Delights.

Here's the step by step for my Side step card:
First you will need:
  • One 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" piece of cardstock
  • Scor Pal, or other scoring tool
  • Paper cutter
  • Summer Breeze digital paper pack and ribbon to decorate the card
Step 1:
Take your 5.5" x 8.5" cardstock and line up the short side of the cardstock at 3" in a paper cutter.
 Start at 1" and cut all the way to 6 1/2"

Step 2:
Score the 2 1/2" wide section of the card at 4 1/4" and then Score the 3" wide section at 1", 2", 3 1/4", 4 1/2" and 6 1/2".
Step 3:
Fold the score line at 4 1/4" down
Fold the first score line on the right hand side of the card down (mountain fold), fold the second fold up (valley fold) and keep going until you have something like this.

Then finish your card and decorate

and your card will be finished and ready to mail!
Have fun making your own....

Happy Spring! {Scrapy Land Challenge #40}

Welcome to a New Scrapy Land Challenge!!!

Our theme challenge is "Oh Happy Spring" + use any of the 40 brand dies that the store carries.
Here's my card for today's challenge:
Isn't this card perfect!
All papers used from my stash and used  Spellbinders Nestabilities Small Scallop and cut two pieces,  the Hibiscus image, piercing the border and cut out a scallop border to add to the top layer of the card. Added orange and yellow ribbon to accent it.  I love this Hibiscus image and will make this same layout card but using different colors.
